Knut Nærum (b. 1961) is a Norwegian dramatist, novelist, translator, cartoonist and former team captain for the Norwegian version of Have I Got News For You. He has translated Woody Allen, Alistair Beaton, Stephen Sondheim, Taylor Mac and Mischief Theatre into Norwegian, and written scripts for Disney comics since 2009. His play Murder Afoot! has been produced more than sixty times, by amateur companies on three continents. Knut Nærum is currently residing in Oslo.
