Roger and Edna were on their way to a posh hotel, supposedly for a Masonic ‘do.’ But then they became lost and time was getting on, so Roger had to cancel their booking at the hotel and settle for a run-down guest house instead as he was too tired to drive any further tonight.
Roger blames Edna for getting them lost and he’s become tired and irritable and his feet have swollen. He expects Edna to do everything and she’s finally had enough of his bullying tactics and begins to argue and stick up for herself.
Edna makes a cup of tea and Roger eats one of the complimentary biscuits and then discovers it’s stale and mouldy, so he phones the Manager to complain and the Manager sends up some more complimentary biscuits with his wife, Lyn, but Roger’s not having any of it; he is worried that having eaten the biscuit it will make him ill, and he’s demanding compensation.
Roger rows with Lyn and her husband and then rows with Edna, and she retorts blaming him for forgetting their anniversary and telling him how boring and unromantic he’s become over the years. Roger then explains that the trip was a surprise and they were supposed to be staying at a posh hotel and then flying to Paris the next day to celebrate. Edna is so taken aback she gets a bit loving and Roger joins in and then he’s struck down with vicious stomach pains from the mouldy biscuit... so that puts the tin lid on that!

The simple answer is, yes.
