Drama based on true events that happened in Royal circles between 1970 and 1981. The play concentrates on the steamy and fractious relationships between Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.
The action depicts the last years of the marriage between Margaret and Tony, their relationship with the Queen Mother and, trying to keep them apart, the faithful royal servant Ruby who had looked after the young princess since her birth. The play opens in 1970 and concludes with the 1981 wedding of Charles and Diana.
The settings include various rooms within Kensington Palace, the home of Margaret and Tony, Clarence House (the home of the Queen Mother), and a small scene in a beach house on the infamous Caribbean Island of Mustique.
